Normal shoulder function requires a combination of flexibility, strength and control. When sporting or day to day demands on the shoulder are excessive, damage to the ligaments, tendons or muscles may occur.

Careful and thorough examination of the shoulder joint and surrounding muscles is required to establish the relevance of any pathology and to determine the most appropriate management approach.

At Auburn Spinal we are experts in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of the following shoulder conditions:

  • Rotator cuff tears and tendinopathies

  • Shoulder instability

  • Bursitis

  • Frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitis)

  • Impingement

  • Post surgical rehabilitation
